Today is a sad day for the technology industry, we have lost a brilliant innovator and revolutionary in Steve Jobs, he didn’t just raise the bar, he created an entirely new standard of measurement in how we use technology today and how we will for generations.
When I first saw the iPhone, I thought it was some concept prototype which would never be made, how wrong was I, the iPhone is now the biggest selling phone if not gadget in the entire world, and the iPad has also changed how we use technology today, no longer do we always have to lug around a heavy laptop.
Back when the first iPod came out, I’m honest to say I was a real Apple hater! I had a Creative Zen Touch (for those who can remember this!) and I always made out it was so much better than an iPod! A few years down the line, I started to like the iPod, but no other Apple products, so I bought and iPod and boy was I wrong, I was so impressed with everything about it. Moving forward to a few years to today, I am now a huge Apple fanboy, I own an iPod, an iPad, an iPhone and a Macbook Pro and I wouldn’t have it any other way!
So this is just an example to show you how much Steve Jobs had revelotionised how we see Apple (which remember was a failing company when he first started!) and technology today, even if you don’t own a single Apple device, you probably own a device which was based upon an idea or design from Apple.
The whole world today is joined in sadness and mourning for a great man who literally changed the world, and most of the mourning and writing about Steve is probably taking place on a device that he innovated! What a way to go! My thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends and colleagues at this time.
R.I.P. Steve Jobs, may your legacy live on and I hope to see you up in the sky in what you would probably call the iCloud!

Sorry to all the previous posts, been on a bit of a session uploading some of my best old photos if that makes sense!
Really trying to get back into my photography, and I figured a good start is a new camera, so I’m soon going to be trading my old Canon EOS 350D for a shiny new 550D! It’s done well my 350D for the last five, almost six, years but I figured it’s time to upgrade when you can get phones these days with a higher MP sensor! Had a play on one in Curry’s the other day and I don’t think anything can beat both on price and the quality of the build and image quality.
I figured Canon was the best way to go too as I’ve always had a Canon and been very impressed and it will also be compatible with my existing 18-55mm and 75-300mm lenses.
I’ll be sure to get some photos up on here once I’ve got it and been out on a shoot!View comments →
